I recently started selling some old junk on Ebay and I accidentally came across some pics I had stored in an old zip drive I used to use. One of the things that really bugged me was that I lost a lot of mementos like old photos of fast cars and custom hot rods and motorcycles that I’ve built and customized thru my years. Yeah, I was quite a prolific hot rod builder, I owned a body shop for a few years, and the pics I used to have of my work would knock your socks off, and I even found a few of those as well. All this stuff got lost when I became seriously ill with my needing a liver transplant (that story in the sidebar link). I sold the zip drive and just to make sure I didn’t leave any personal stuff on any of it’s cartridges, as an afterthought I hooked it up and found some of my lost stuff!!

A few of my personal add ons are the drag pipes, pull back handle bars, custom black and pearlescent blue paint, the two-step seat and sissy bar, and the S&S chrome air cleaner.

Sweet, huh? ya, too bad the lighting angle in the pics doesn’t fully show off the custom paint on the tank, it was gorgeous and took forever to do. This was my fave bike out of all the ones I’ve owned thru the years, and now after looking at these pics and that my health is back I want another one more than ever!

Nice Bike, well really awesome.. Got one sitting in my garage, don’t look that nice thro. I also think it will sit there till maybe July before it melts around here to ride it.. But hey its a Harley.. LOL Nice site, Glad Magz sent me to check it out..

That’s the bike I want! A black sportster with the custom blue flame paint job. I don’t think I want the sissy bar & step seat, but I can just cover that part of the picture with my finger.
Well, she is a black beauty, that’s for sure.
Course you know what they say about that …
Tiny= ya , the twostep seat looks so retro now that i think it looks kinda silly myself but I often had a real purty passenger and her comfort was important. we practically lived on that scooter, taking trips up in to the hills and valleys in north Ga. and Tennessee, awesome areas for cruisin and sightseeing, killer weather too.

Oh, how I wish to be on the back of a bike again. There’s nothing like cruisin’. I haven’t rode since my 16th birthday. (dad’s bike and all that.) I always got the first ride of the year. Made his wife rather jealous. Ahhh, nostalgia.

The bike is beautiful. I’ve always wanted one. When I was about 8 my Dad’s friend came to visit from California and had a Harley with those “ape hangers” (is that what they’re called?)…anyway, he took me for a ride around the neighborhood and I fell in love with that bike! *sigh*
