Jethro= yeah, I was looking at over $500 a month just for ONE drug and I take several. The rest are pretty cheap though. Now we have a new storm headed my way, sort of hehe. I spent over $12,000 dollars on drugs in that store last year, my insurance company paid for most, myself I paid about $2000 out of pocket. Amazing huh? My dog is diabetic so he needs insulin. SInce you don't need a prescription for his type of insulin, my vet doesn't write me one. Then I go to the pharmacy where a bunch of clueless newbies think EVERYTHING just MUST need a prescription because apparently it is the American way or something. Sometimes I luck out and somebody actually knows what to do in there and other times I have to leave without the insulin and come back later. Gah!
