My New Kitty … Updated!
I have a new pet! It’s some kind of weird looking stray cat, hehe. It seems to like eating the birdseed spilled on the ground under the birdfeeder and it only comes out at night. It’s kind of creepy looking but it looks so cuddly doesn’t it? I took this pic from the backdoor, about 10ft away and it was very dark at the time.

Sorry about the lack of updates lately, I’ve been very busy with catching up on schoolwork and blogwork. Good news is that I am working on a commercial website for someone that I recently did a blog template for. They liked my work so much that they have let me redesign their business site and it looks promising that it will lead to a lot more commercial work in the future. Exciting!! woohoo!! You know how I love showing off but you’ll just have to wait till it’s completed to see it! hehe
I’m not going to be around much for the next few days at least but I will be back with a vengeance and an entirely new template for this blog, it’s looking killer and suitably creepy, just in time for one of my favorite seasons of the year, Helloween!! weee!! It’s almost done but I’m still working on the Flash header that will have some really cool content. The template is completely new under the hood although it will still be 3 columns like this one. If you poke around you can find a sneak peek…
I finally updated the “other” blog for those that are interested and I promise that I will get caught up on visiting everyone soon!! Keep the faith!!

I remember the first time I came face to face with a possum, scared the crap out of me, I was working on the door to the pool cage and he came out of the bushes about 5 feet away. He had long spiky teeth going in all directions, I got the distinct impresion of a 2 by 4 with 6 inch nails hammered through it. I think I scared it as much as it scared me because it let out a hiss and jumped about 4 feet in the air, we both ran and probably felt equally stupid. Congrats on your new commission, do you know about setting up an order system? I have a buddy who runs a shop that was one time looking for someone to do his web page if you like I’ll tell him about you.

Those possum creatures are nasty. Kind of like a racoon/cat/icky rat kind of things. I saw one walking on the top of our chain link fence recently. Freaked me out. At first I thought it was the biggest fucking rat in the world.. i hear they’re good eatin’ though..

I went to open one of the cabinet brawers in my dads electrical shop one day and one of those bastards jumped out. I am telling you that my heart rate was about at 150 for at least three hours afterwards.
We have one that visits at work too, I think that there are about 100 opossums for every square mile in Louisiana.

We’ve got one of those “kitties” that torments the hell outta my dog each evening. It crawls out on the telephone line and just sits there looking or rather watching my crazy dog jump up and down trying to get to her. CRAZY AZZ DOG.

Damn it worked that time. And all I needed to do was add the email. I might one day be technically independant after all.
Congrats on the job. I fixed my sidebar to have a collapsible menu thingie, allowing me to add links without everything running down the page. It’s probably a simple task for you, but it took me all weekend to master and I’m very proud o’ mahsef. So I completely respect what you do.

p.s. I used to have an oppossum for a “pet”. He would practically eat out of my hand. Then one day he quit coming around. Probably ended up roadkill:(
