A Teeny Tiny Taste of Jazz Fest - UPDATED!

Lisa and I had a great time at Jazz Fest this past weekend and I took a couple of really short video clips of a couple of the acts we saw. They’re kinda crappy because I’m shooting video with a snapshot camera but they’re not too bad.
This first one is of Rosie Ledet and the Zydeco Playboys.
And this one is of Steve Riley and the Mamou Playboys.
Hell, who knew there were so many musical cajun playboys huh? LOL We were also fortunate enough to meet up with another blogger that came in with his family all the way from Montana! His name is Wade of Wade’s World, dude that’s a long ways to go for a party! hehe Anyway, we had a great time eating and drinking, I turned Lisa on to the awesome goodness of crawfish bread and fried alligator tail and she showed me how easy it is to lose all your money gambling at Harrah’s Casino in N.O. LOL Maybe that’s not really a fair trade huh? hehe

it’s never too far to get to new orleans to party–that’s how amazing it is for us non-locals. Mardi Gras 2005 was um…well…unbloggable to say the least……but amazing nevertheless

Glad it was a great visit with Lisa and you can say it was the food and the Jazz fest and meeting Wade and the gambling if you want but I got news for you my friend I know you better than that. I know it was…..well never mind…just glad it was as it should have been. I know the time went too fast.

Any fest is a great time as long as the music is good and the company is the best. Lets not forget the beer.
We have a Bluesfest here that runs for a week starting soon so that should be a blast.
