Welcome to My New Home!
Yeah, it’s a house blog warming party and you’re all invited! I haven’t had a chance to finish the decorating though, this is another one of my freebie blog templates, it’s ported to work with both Blogger and Wordpress. I’ll get around to it soon though! I’m amazed that I was able to import not only all my Blogger posts, but I was able to import all 6,000 or so Haloscan comments from the past 2.5 years as well. The amazing part is that all the comments know which post they originally went to!
I’m not happy that the weather here has been so fair that I’m already having to cut the frikkin’ grass. I can’t think of much that I loathe doing more than lawn and garden work. What’s really got me pissed off though, is that the 1.5 year old riding mower became crippled yesterday thanks to the chintzy assed, shoddy construction of a SEARS Craftsman machine that cost $1200!!! The front wheel rims are made of PLASTIC! This thing weighs 350 pounds and then you put a rider on it that is likely to average 200 pounds or even more and you can see why plastic wheels just MIGHT be a fukkin’ problem… duh, you think?

The center hubs on both front wheels are so badly damaged the wheels are just about to fall off, Sears is really gonna hear about this!
Here’s another wacky bronze statue that really cracked me up, it looks like a guy juggling babies! I don’t think I really wanna know where the right foot is going…

That’s just wrong! Hey you big oaf, why don’t you pick on somebody your own size!
Thanks for dropping by and I hope you guys have a great weekend! Weeeee!!

Congratulations on your new blog home! You know complaining about cutting the grass….really is not making me feel pains for you…wanna come up and shovel my driveway? You have to push a lawn mower in the hot sun and I have to swing a shovel in the gray cold…no pity for you! LOL!
I agree that metal boy needs to get a new hobby! Tossing babies is just not socially acceptable!
I hear you on the grass thing. Too damn early to Mow grass!
The statue is crazy looking.
Congrats on your new digs-it’s looking good!! I’ve switched the link on my blog to this new URL!! xo
Nice new place ya got here Se7. That statue? just wrong. Makes you wonder A. who the hell the effed up sculptor is, and B. Did he have live modles for this, or did he just get a bad mushroom and dreamed this up.
That statue has me curious. I’m going to have to investigate that. What was going through the sculptor’s mind? And you know someone commissioned that!
That’s the second statue in a row you have shown with naked thingies hanging out
Where are you finding these um unique works of art?!
LOL!!!
This is right smart pretty, Se7en.
What if Sears tells you to lose weight instead? You gotta comeback for that? Surely you do…..
I didn’t find out the motivation behind this statue, bt I found out a lot of other things.

Wow! Very nice site. I’ve thought about switching to Wordpress but I didn’t know everything would transfer. Hmmm….
So you finally moved..
The new site looks great but, you’re right, the statue is totally strange. My son said it was just gorgeous there. Sorry about the mower. Hopefully, they’ll fix those wheels. Take care.
Glad to see you writing again. Even if it is weird shit.
lmao! that statue is fucking BIZARRE!
you should complain to Sears. I think all of their Craftsman stuff has a lifetime warranty. I could be totally wrong, but I thought that was the case anyway.
Nice new digs, ya got here - I will look forward to seeing what you do with the place once you’ve had a chance to settle in a bit. You definitely need some artwork on the walls!
As for that statute … uh … yeah … that’s art??
Okay, I’m off to fix the link on my blog to your new address!
That statue’s just plain messed up–Just Say No to stomping babies.
Love the new place. Though I’m starting to think I need to change my blog name and go evil. I mean, first Julz goes evil, now you go evil, the Science Chick has always been evil, so it only makes sense I become the Evil Rocker Guy.
Feh, the heck with it, it doesn’t roll off the tongue very nicely, does it?
Nice new place here
Were you in “new blogger” and it let you import? Cuz I’m still considering a “move” of my own!
Yes, I was on “new” Blogger because they “forced” me to transfer but I was still using “classic” publishing.
Transferring all my Blogger posts was no problem, importing all the Haloscan comments though was a very tricky task. It required editing some of the actual files in the Wordpress engine to do it. I doubt if you could make it work using a free blog at Wordpress.COM. This blog is self hosted which allowed me to do the necessary changes.
Also, it only works if you have PAID Haloscan comments like I had. You can always switch to paid ($12) and retrieve them though.
Nice to meet you. I followed your homepage thingie from Ole Blue’s place.
Ah, I see. If I do it, I’ll just copy/paste the comments. No use payin’ HS just to move comments around! It’d look kinda funny though, LOL.
