Transferring all my Blogger posts was no problem, importing all the Haloscan comments though was a very tricky task. It required editing some of the actual files in the Wordpress engine to do it. I doubt if you could make it work using a free blog at Wordpress.COM. This blog is self hosted which allowed me to do the necessary changes. Also, it only works if you have PAID Haloscan comments like I had. You can always switch to paid ($12) and retrieve them though.
